Professional business travels to many continents inspired scenes and themes which contribute to a passion for storytelling in my art. My goal is to make the viewer smile and encourage that through characterized sculpture of pets and barnyard animals. I like humor in most of my work, however, try to capture the spirit and character of lost pets for their owners. As a Veteran, I also do some military pieces when requested.
Living in New Mexico renewed my intrigue with sculpture and design of 3-dimensional animal form, frequently adding people into the theme.
Hand-sculpted custom ceramic pieces from photographs or memory, each designed and hand painted, beginning from preliminary sketches.
